Commission Fees:

Commission Fees under $1,000.00 will be charged directly to the seller’s credit card. All commission fees over $1,000.00 will be handled via wire transfer. All buyers purchasing machinery over $12,000.00 will wire payment for machinery or tooling directly to Industry Auctions LLC where the commission fee will be deducted and payment to the buyer will be made the same day via wire transfer. Commissions are charged AFTER the sale and can be built in to your "reserve" auction price.

Listing Removal Fee Prior to Auction Close - We at Big Iron put enormous amounts of time, energy and money into marketing "your equipment" to qualified buyers through our family of industry specific auction sites. Should you the seller for any reason, withdraw a piece of equipment and negotiate a side deal outside of the controlled auction site to avoid paying a commission you will be caught. Once it has been determined that you violated your Seller Obligation Agreement, you then as the seller, agree to pay BigIronExchange.com a Listing Default Fee equal to the Commission Fee of the Final Selling Price just as if the equipment were sold through our site, as well as any legal fees incurred. We offer a marketplace free from parasitic fees and expect to be compensated accordingly upon completion of a successful auction.

"Shill Bidding" If BIE or any Industry Auctions LLC employee determines that a Seller or someone associated with a Seller has bid on that Seller’s own item called "shill bidding", BIE will ban the Seller from future use of ANY Industry Auctions LLC websites and or other services. BIE will cancel the alleged transaction(s) and the seller will be fined a Shill Bidding Fee of 25% of current equipment auction price at the time of listing cancelation. It’s Simple; just don't try to cheat the system.
